Laboratory Technician – Great Opportunity for Steady Holiday Income! (Rush, NY)

Location: Rush, NY
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Assignment: Temporary through the end of December (with potential to extend)

We're hiring reliable Laboratory Technicians for a clean, team-oriented lab in Rush, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a solid work history who are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a production or lab environment.

Full training is provided  the work isn't hard to learn  but candidates with previous lab, quality, manufacturing, or data entry experience are strongly encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, label, and process biological test samples accurately
• Perform data entry and record results
• Transfer samples aseptically into test tubes following safety procedures
• Operate lab equipment (setup, operation, and cleaning)
• Inspect samples for growth and follow incubation protocols
• Restock supplies, clean equipment, and maintain an organized workspace

Work Environment & PPE:

• Cleanroom setting — no jewelry, artificial nails, nail polish, or lash extensions permitted
• Steel-toe shoes required (other PPE provided)
• Must follow all safety and hygiene guidelines

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Consistent work history and good attendance record
• Ability to stand for long periods; some sitting, bending, and walking required
• Comfortable lifting up to 15 lbs and light pushing/pulling (up to 5 lbs)
• Detail-oriented with good hand coordination
• Basic computer/data entry skills
