Lead Inventory Specialist (Storeroom / Inventory) – 2nd Shift
$19.00–$20.00/hr | Bradley, IL
Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire (Start with Kelly Services for 3–6 months, with opportunity to be hired on permanently)
Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Days confirmed during interview; schedule is typically Sun–Wed)

Job Details
• Pay: $19–$20/hr (target $20/hr based on experience)
• Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Schedule: Confirmed during interview (commonly Sun–Wed)
• Location: Bradley, IL
• Equipment: Stand-up + sit-down forklift experience required

What You'll Do
• Run daily storeroom operations: receiving, stocking, issuing parts, cycle counting, and system transactions
• Investigate inventory shortages, research root cause, and recommend fixes to the manager
• Unpack materials, verify against packing slips/POs, and enter receipts into the system
• Put away product, tag/repack when needed, and deliver materials with special handling as required
• Pull, stage, and kit materials for internal customers; support Kanban requests
• Maintain accurate locations: replace barcodes, process relocations, and keep the storeroom organized
• Help lead the room: train, coach, mentor, and delegate tasks to attendants (then follow through to completion)
• Communicate daily with site/inventory leadership on productivity, service issues, and inventory levels

What I'm Looking For (Apply Only If You Meet These)
• 2+ years professional work experience (lead responsibilities preferred)
• Strong organization, detail-orientation, and customer service mindset
• Comfortable learning systems/ERPs and completing accurate computer transactions
• Able to lead by example—calm, professional coaching and clear communication
• Stand-up and sit-down forklift experience required (safe, controlled operation)
