Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Loader to join our team. This position is responsible for the accurate loading and unloading of products, verifying shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the safe movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, physical endurance, and a strong commitment to safety. Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate power pallet jacks or forklifts to pick products and build loads according to load sheets.
- Verify product accuracy while loading in accordance with paperwork and load instructions.
- Build and wrap pallets/load for transport.
- Stage product and load trucks based on outgoing orders.
- Unload incoming trucks and properly place raw materials in designated warehouse areas.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas according to warehouse safety standards.
- Use RF scanners (if required by location, e.g., Philips Highway) to scan product and maintain inventory tracking.
- Record all loaded/unloaded items in accordance with warehouse procedures.
- Remove returned pallets and plastic flats from trailers.
- Work across varying weather conditions and shift durations, depending on workload.
- Lift a high volume of products repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Engage in constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, grasping, and lifting (regular and overhead).
- Work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse (e.g., product picking, staging, or order selecting)
- Experience driving forklifts or operating powered pallet jacks
- Familiarity with racking systems and proper stacking for maximizing space
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Reliability and punctuality
- Teamwork and cooperation
