Logistics Assistant
Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm
Blue Ash, Ohio
Pay: $25/hr +/- DOE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Picking, Packing, Shipping and Receiving of capital equipment, loaners, disposables and products for various events both on and off site.
  • Assist with administration of various product programs and ordering of various components from multiple vendors.
  • Assist with consumable and client product purchases using eMarketplace and GSOnestop.
  • Managing purchase orders for all projects/project coordinating.
  • Know and follow policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility.
  • Complete training in areas of responsibility within allowed time-period. Training is required for changes in existing policies and procedures, for new assignments and for implementation of new policies and procedures.  Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as safety and environmental compliance.
  • Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within work area. Promote safety to all associates that enter work area. Follow Health Care Compliance guidelines as well as follow operating room training and safety standards (Bloodborne pathogens training, etc.).
  • Stocking and organizing disposables and products for labs, workshops, demos.
  • Cleaning of instrumentation from lab and return shipments.
  • Assist with data entry for various software systems as needed.
  • Maintaining stock levels of disposables, consumables and products.
  • Preparing necessary reports for labs/events (internal and external).
  • ERD (recycling and destruction) of expired or old products.
  • Assist with maintaining equipment for sales demos, displays/exhibits, professional education, company meetings, cadaver labs, sales training and workshops.
  • Pick and pack daily orders for shipment.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma required.
  • Minimal warehouse/distribution experience is acceptable.
  • Purchasing experience is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Must have good organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to photocopy, print, file, and compile necessary data entry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
  • Must be able to prioritize and make quick decisions.
