Pay: $20.00/hr.
Shift: 2nd shift: Monday to Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:30 am
Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Job Description:

  • Pre-operation machine inspection- load screws and hinges.
  • Sort and push door stacks down the conveyor tracks. Use mallet to loosen doors.
  • Load hinge machine with bifold door panels for hinging. Inspect and ensure hardware aligned and applied correctly prior to push off. Pull off callboards, change bits, restock rails/assist. Reject doors are directed to repair and remakes requested.
  • LOTO certified and use of air gun during clean up. Read/interpret tickets/schedule, strong knowledge of door species/core
  • Read/interpret schedules and tickets, perform visual quality checks, operate bifold machine, repair doors with putty and putty knife, touch up paint, sanding paper, read a tape to 1/32nd of an inch of the bifold machine, and quality standards.
  • Works with minimal supervision with good output to keep packaging stocked with doors. Ensure all doors are machined correctly to customer spec and quality expectations.
  • Ability to lift to 80 lbs., bending, constant twisting while carrying product, stooping, pushing, and long periods of constant standing or on your feet.
  • Fast and low paced job depending on demand levels.
  • Continuous focus on measurement accuracy and visual quality inspection of doors.
  • Minimal communication required upstream or downstream
