Machine Operator (Production Specialist)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr for the day shift, $21.00/hr for the night shift- will get periodic pay rate increases once hired permanently.
Location: Burlington, WA
Duration: 3-month contract to start, then temp-to-hire
Day Shift Hours: 6 am to 6 pm
Night Shift Hours: 6 pm to 6 am
Schedule: 3 Days On/2 Days Off- Rotating Schedule
Start: ASAP!

Our client, the premier manufacturer of private-label engineered wood products, is currently seeking qualified candidates for their day and graveyard shifts.

Job Description
Looking for people with a positive attitude and the ability to work accurately, and efficiently under tight deadlines. This is a full-time contract-to-hire position that requires the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Press department - Contractors will be working the front end and back end of the operation ensuring materials are loaded correctly. Will be performing tasks such as monitoring production flow, measuring, inspecting, banding, and packaging wood stacks for transportation. Candidates will be working with state-of-the-art engineered wood equipment, so a high attention to detail is a must.

Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work in Burlington.
  • Previous background in construction, roofing, warehouse or labor a plus! 
  • Able to work in a fast paced, sometimes hot/high temperature environment – Industrial fans/AC Units in the warehouse for use during summer months 
  • Need basic math skills with strong verbal communication and ability to follow directions – Will be communicating on a 2-way radio/walkie-talkie with other departments
  • Interested in the company long term/interested in a permanent role
