Pay rate: $17.50/hr
Hours: Monday to Thursday 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
We are hiring for a print shop company in Enfield. At this role you run an ink machine and sort mails. Please see more details below.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
Must be able to start-up inkjet and Inserter systems.

  1. Must be able to adjust for proper material feeding.
  2. Properly align print horizontal and vertically.
  3. Develops ability to make mechanical adjustments as needed.
  4. Has ability to work stock.
  5. Properly completes time sheets.
  6. Maintains acceptable production standards.
  7. Shuts down system properly.
  8. Maintains acceptable attendance record.
  9. Understands job orders for font, print size, what is to be printed and quantities.
  10. Monitors Quality.
  11. Is responsible for the production and quality of mail.
  12. Understands and can operate equipment at optimum production and quality levels.
  13. Maintains neat and tidy work area.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  1. Ability to sort mail in accordance with postal regulations.
  2. Must be able to work and cooperate with others.
  3. Employees must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  4. Employees should have sufficient math skills and computer skills.
  5. Employees should have some mechanical abilities.
  6. Employees must be able to lift to 70 pounds from the floor to shoulder height.
  7. Employees must be able to bend from an upright position to place material on a skid.
  8. Employees must be able to stand 8 to 10 hours.
  9. Employees will be required to work overtime as determined by management.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  1. Employees are encouraged to wear hearing protection when working on machines.
  2. Employees should be able to withstand factory characteristics such as dust, noise, heat and cold.
  3. Employees must be 18 years of age or older.
