Kelly Services is hiring Powder Coat Paint Booth Operators for a premier client! 

Location: Paris, KY
Temp to hire opportunity! 
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
2 - 1st shift 5am - 3:30pm
1 - 2nd shift 3:30pm - 2am

Job Summary:
A powder coat paint booth operator in metal fabrication is responsible for operating and maintaining a powder coating paint booth used in metal fabrication.
Principal Accountabilities:

• Operating powder coating equipment, including the powder gun, spray booth, and oven to achieve the desired finish.
• Monitoring the coating process to ensure the coating is applied evenly and uniformly, and adjusting equipment as needed.
• Maintaining the powder coating booth and equipment, cleaning and performing color change out, and testing.
• Ensuring safety and environmental compliance by following safety guidelines and wearing appropriate protective equipment.
• Recording production data and collaborating with other paint line team members to meet production goals.
• Loading and unloading raw steel parts and bundling finished material with a banding machine for shipping.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Overtime and extended hours may be necessary based on department needs.
Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating a paint booth
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality parts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to powder coating and paint booth operations
