Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Polaris, Monticello, MN
Shift: 2nd 4:30PM to 3:00 AM
Pay: $20.33
Monday through Thursday- Off every Friday
Over Time: Can be required based on work load
About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Polaris and take on the role of a Machine Operator for the thrilling 2nd Shift! As a Machine Operator, you will be at the forefront of creating high-quality components using cutting-edge CNC equipment. Your expertise will ensure the proper use of machines, tooling, and inspection equipment, driving our production to new heights.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Machinery: Load parts into the machine, verify settings by measuring positions, and perform first-run and sample parts testing.
- Maintain Production Rate: Achieve assigned cycle time, quantity, and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Use calipers, micrometers, and other inspection gauges to ensure high-quality production and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Inspect Parts: Conduct in-process inspection and accurately complete required paperwork, including the Inspection Process (IP) sheet.
- Tools Proficiency: Experience using hand tools and measurement tools such as hand gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
- Manufacturing Experience: Background in machine operation within environments like CNC, fabrication/metal fabrication, or laser welding, involving tasks like loading parts and quality checks.
- CNC Machine Experience: 1+ year preferred, but not required.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Educational Requirements: High school diploma or GED.
