Position Overview:
As a Packaging Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of your assigned machine, ensuring production quotas are met while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will play a vital role in our production process, working as part of a team to deliver exceptional products to our customers.

Reports To: Shift Supervisor
Pay Structure: Mornings- $17.54 Nights- $19.04
Shifts- Mornings (6:00am- 6:30pm) Nights- (6:30pm- 6:30am)
Rotating Shifts
Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and hair nets. Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures when necessary and immediately report any potential safety hazards.
  • Production Excellence: Meet or exceed production quotas on assigned equipment for your shift. Monitor machine cycle times and communicate any discrepancies to the Shift Leader.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Communicate effectively with operators from previous and following shifts, sharing pertinent information about downtime causes and process adjustments.
Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with all aspects of production processes.
  • Understanding of and adherence to all safety requirements.
  • Thorough comprehension of Quality Assurance procedures.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility for extended periods.
Physical Demands:
This position requires light to moderate physical effort. You must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be able to stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility regularly.
