Machine Operator - Hand Welding
Entry Level Production positions play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely assembly or processing of component parts, preparing them for future production or shipment. These individuals might assist other operators in their tasks and could be assigned to various machines during their shifts.
Shifts and Pay:
- 1st Shift: 7 am – 3 pm, $16/hour
- 2nd Shift: 3 pm – 11 pm, $17.50/hour
- 3rd Shift: 11 pm – 7 am, $17.50/hour
Each shift includes one 10-minute break and a 20-minute unpaid lunch.
Role Impact:
Ensure accurate and timely assembly or processing of component parts for production or shipment. Assist other operators and may be assigned to various machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various machinery, including mechanical press and spot welding
- Perform hand assembly and operate rolling bending machines
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks
Requirements:
- Basic reading, writing, and computer skills
- Experience with machinery/manufacturing preferred
- Meet company quality and production standards
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Repetitive motions, lifting 30-75+ lbs, standing/seating positions
- Problem-solving and basic math skills
Safety:
Wear safety gear, follow safety procedures, and apply safe lifting techniques.
