Machine Vision/Illumination Engineer
Kelly Services is currently seeking a Machine Vision Engineer for one of our top clients in Jacksonville, FL.
- Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group KellyOCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Machine Vision Engineer working onsite in Jacksonville, FL.

As a Machine Vision Engineer placed with KellyOCG you will be responsible for the following:
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement machine vision systems for automated contact lens inspection and quality control, leveraging various technologies such as high-resolution cameras, optics, lighting, sensors, and robotics.
- Develop and optimize image processing algorithms and software tools for defect detection, dimensional measurements, and pattern recognition on contact lenses.
- Integrate machine vision systems with existing manufacturing lines and automation platforms.
- Train and develop machine learning and deep learning models for intelligent recognition and classification of contact lens defects.
- Analyze and interpret data collected from vision systems to identify trends, optimize processes, and ensure quality standards.
- Perform testing, debugging, and maintenance of machine vision systems, ensuring their accuracy, reliability, and uptime.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine vision technology, including hardware, software, and algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, as well as production and quality assurance teams.
- Document system design, development, and operating procedures.
Qualifications and Skills Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Masters or PhD preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java.
- Experience with machine vision libraries like OpenCV or TensorFlow.
- Strong understanding of computer vision, image processing, machine learning, and deep learning concepts.
- Familiarity with various hardware components, including cameras, sensors, lenses, and lighting systems.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Experience with robotics and automation technologies preferred
