Machinist (CNC) – Automotive Manufacturing | $19/hr | Climate-Controlled Facility
Location: York, SC
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour (Overtime available)

We are currently hiring Machinists (CNC) to support a leading automotive component manufacturer in York, SC. What You'll Do
As a Machinist, you will support daily production operations while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include:
  • Operate and support CNC machining operations, including brake spider machining, bush and bore, spider drilling, and related processes
  • Follow all safety protocols, standard work instructions, and quality control plans
  • Perform routine quality checks using calipers and measuring devices
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts
  • Report to the Operations Supervisor and collaborate with production teams
What We're Looking For
This position may be a great fit if you have:
  • High School Diploma or GED, plus one of the following:
    • Completion of a recognized CNC machining program or certificate
    • 2-year Associate's degree in Machining with at least 6 months of machining experience
    • 2.5+ years of machining experience, including advanced setup and programming
  • Hands-on CNC machining experience (Haas and/or Bridgeport preferred)
  • Ability to accurately measure parts and verify tolerances
  • A strong commitment to safety, attendance, and quality workmanship
