Description

In partnership with our client, we are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in the Global Medical Manufacturing Industry.

We are seeking a hands-on, proactive Maintenance Mechanic to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This individual will be instrumental in performing both preventive and corrective maintenance in our medical device production environment, helping to minimize downtime, support production schedules, and maintain compliance with stringent quality and safety standards.

Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $30-32/hr
Schedule: 1st Shift, 6 pm-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday
OT: Saturdays
  Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment (e.g., extruders, braiders, automated systems, compressors, HVAC).
  • Develop and track preventive maintenance programs using IQMS ERP.
  • Prepare monthly PM plans; maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
  • Inspect facilities, assist with installations and upgrades, and perform minor building repairs.
  • Communicate with OEMs and suppliers to resolve equipment issues.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
  • Ensure work meets cGMP, OSHA, and internal safety requirements.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to support timely repairs.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; technical/vocational training preferred.
  • 5+ years' maintenance experience in regulated industrial/manufacturing settings.
  • Skilled in mechanical systems, basic electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
  • Able to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Experience with hand/power tools, diagnostic equipment, and ERP/CMMS systems (IQMS preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
