Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Wentzville, MO
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $20–$25/hr Job Summary Pic the Gift is seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our production team in Wentzville, MO. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure all facilities and production equipment are maintained at the highest standards. You will be responsible for addressing facility work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting a safe, collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to facility work orders for building systems and production equipment.
  • Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on building infrastructure, machinery, roofs, and monitoring systems.
  • Effectively troubleshoot and repair equipment such as heat presses, conveyor systems, shipping/conveyor lines, lifts, and hoists.
  • Prioritize workflow to meet production deadlines.
  • Follow all company standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring maintenance processes are completed accurately.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of maintenance supplies, communicating replenishment needs.
  • Support a culture of safety by following protocols and reporting or addressing unsafe conditions.
  • Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain clear communication with the team using internal messaging software (such as Slack).
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment (required).
  • Professional, positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Effective multitasking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • General knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical schematics, hydraulics, air compressors, and conveyor systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to evaluate color on products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
