Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our specialty circuits manufacturing client in Northfield, MN.
Location: Northfield, MN
Pay Rate: $30–$35/hour, based on experience
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. You'll also help keep the building in top shape, working under the direction of the Facilities Director.
Key Responsibilities:-
Troubleshoot and repair building and production equipment using PLC, electrical, and mechanical knowledge

Maintain facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and large-scale repairs

Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks

Assist with installing new equipment and making modifications as needed

Keep walkways and entry areas safe and maintained

Help prioritize maintenance needs alongside the Facilities Director

Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and keep a clean, orderly work area

Respond promptly to safety concerns raised by the Safety Committee or staff
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with formal electrical or mechanical training
- Solid electrical skills and understanding of PLCs
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Analytical, problem-solving mindset with good judgment and independence
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit, able to manage multiple priorities, and lift at least 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with computers
