Manufacturing Assembler
Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Assembler! This direct hire position plays a vital role in achieving the goals of our Manufacturing Department. Located in a supportive environment, you will be responsible for assembling machined parts with precision, following detailed instructions and blueprints. Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Direct Hire
- Location: Grand Rapids, MI
- Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (additional $3/hour shift differential when fully working on D Shift)
- Shift: First Shift (A Shift: 6 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday) transitioning to D Shift (6 PM – 6 AM, Friday–Sunday) post-training
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assemble machined components efficiently, adhering to blueprints and instructions.
- Conduct visual inspections as per process documentation to ensure quality.
- Properly mark parts using appropriate tools to facilitate tracking and identification.
- Perform data collection and communication tasks using Job Boss and other applications.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain workplace organization following 5S standards.
- Adhere to PAC safety standards in all tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all PAC policies and procedures diligently to maintain compliance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed paperwork to meet PAC and ITAR requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Capability to lift, push, and pull 50-75 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to maintain high concentration levels for extended periods.
- Experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus but not required.
- Some knowledge of data management and software applications.
