Manufacturing Manager

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Manufacturing Manager for a direct hire position at a leading client in the diagnostics industry in Carlsbad, CA. Salary: $120-125k DOE

Overview
This client is an industry-leading diagnostics company focused on innovative solutions and high-quality standards in manufacturing processes.
In this role, you'll be working with a dynamic team of leaders, colleagues, and partners to oversee products manufactured at the client's facilities and ensure adherence to quality systems requirements and good manufacturing practices. This role will give you an opportunity to manage and oversee material receipt, identification, storage, approvals, and the production of interim components or reagents, while advancing the delivery of high-quality diagnostic products to the market.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee material receipt, identification, storage, and approvals.
  • Manage material and product inventory, including the production of interim components or reagents.
  • Oversee products manufactured or resold by the client.
  • Responsible for products transferred from design verification to validation and/or products manufactured under client contract.
  • Approve changes made to product or production processes.
  • Adhere to quality system requirements and good manufacturing practices.
  • Manage manufacturing personnel and plan and schedule sales orders.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of materials management and manufacturing operations experience.
  • Lateral Flow Assay experience required.
  • Microbial experience required.
  • Knowledge of FDA QSRs, ISO9001, ISO13485, CLIA, Risk Management, IVDs, CE Mark, IVD Directive, and other related standards.
  • Science background.
  • General computer knowledge.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to take direction, understand, and follow through.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Basic algebraic and mathematical skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
