Manufacturing Operator Role Overview

As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play a vital role in the production of high-quality medical and diagnostic products. You will be responsible for assembling components according to detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a structured manufacturing environment.

You will also support production flow by monitoring processes, identifying issues, performing quality checks, managing inventory levels, and communicating concerns to leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Work Schedule & Location
  • Fully On-Site – Santa Clara, CA

  • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Pay Rate – $30.04 - $41

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble products and components in accordance with written work instructions, specifications, and standard operating procedures

  • Use hand tools, equipment, and machinery safely and accurately to complete builds

  • Monitor workflow to maintain production efficiency and meet daily and weekly production goals

  • Perform quality inspections on raw materials, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure product integrity and compliance

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels to support uninterrupted production

  • Identify, document, and report production issues, deviations, or equipment concerns to supervisors

  • Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines at all times

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized processes

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with manufacturing tools, equipment, and basic computer systems

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Prompt, regular, and reliable attendance required

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
