Title: Manufacturing Quality Technician
Location: Mt. Juliet, Tennessee
Shift: 3rd (11:00pm - 7:30am) | Monday–Friday | Overtime Opportunities
Starting Pay: $22.75 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Real-Time Quality Monitoring: Collect and analyze product and process data to maintain control and consistency.
- Precision Testing: Ensure product attributes—like moisture, weight, and color—meet exacting customer specifications.
- Proactive Oversight: Identify and address potential quality issues before they escalate.
- Food Safety & Compliance: Lead sanitation efforts and initiate food safety and quality holds when necessary.
- Auditing & Verification: Conduct routine audits of plant safety, security, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Sensory Testing: Participate in taste and texture evaluations to uphold product quality.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of production staff and leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in food science, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Ability to follow and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMPs, and safety practices.
Working Conditions
- Standing or walking for up to 12 hours.
- Working around machinery and in varying temperatures.
- Performing repetitive tasks with precision.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Exposure to common allergens (e.g., nuts, dairy, grains).
