Description

As a Manufacturing Supervisor - Fill/Finish, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production of high-quality biological and pharmaceutical products. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will ensure efficient operations, compliance with industry standards, and a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise personnel and activities to ensure the production of high-quality products.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Train personnel on scientific principles, GMPs, time management, technical requirements, and relevant policies and regulations.
  • Communicate departmental progress, challenges, and pertinent information to management.
  • Administer company policies, including safety programs and union contract terms.
  • Schedule work for bargaining unit and technician-level employees.
  • Make recommendations on hiring, termination, and discipline of personnel.
  • Participate in or chair relevant meetings and committees.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • BS + 1 year of relevant experience
    • AA + 3 years of relevant experience
    • HS Diploma + 5 years of relevant experience
    • Demonstrated leadership ability and aptitude to train and utilize workers in a multi-faceted environment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication, coaching, organization, and teamwork skills.  
 
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Leadership experience in a biological/pharmaceutical production environment.
    • Familiarity with biological/pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
