Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a personal care manufacturing client in Brooklyn Park, MN.
Position: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Brooklyn Park, MN
Pay Rate: $30–$32/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Hybrid 2nd Shift — Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–10:30 PM
As an Equipment and Maintenance Technician, you'll assist with the installation, repair, and monitoring of industrial processing and production machinery. Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be hands-on with the operation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment used for liquid mixing, filling, and packaging of personal care products.
Key Responsibilities:-
Perform line changeovers, packaging equipment setup, start-up, and troubleshooting to meet production goals

Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities

Inspect machinery to detect irregularities or malfunctions and perform necessary repairs

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service tasks

Follow safety procedures for all equipment and operations

Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment

Maintain a clean and orderly work area, complying with all safety regulations

Handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently

Perform other related duties as assigned
- Trade school certification or relevant work experience
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and team needs
- Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
- Team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and dependable
- Strong attendance record — no unexcused absences

Ability to lift at least 65 lbs. and push/pull up to 400 lbs.

Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
