Job Title: Marketing Specialist (Contract)
Location: St. Charles, MO (On-site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time
Pay Rate: $30 – $35/hour
Contract Type: Contract (Temporary Assignment)

Position Summary:

Kelly Services is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support a manufacturing client in the marking and coding industry. This is a full-time, on-site contract role responsible for creating and executing marketing initiatives that support lead generation, brand visibility, and sales enablement across various channels. The ideal candidate will be skilled in campaign planning, digital marketing, event coordination, and content creation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute promotional events, including Pack Expo, handling logistics, setup/breakdown, scheduling, and travel coordination.

  • Support a segmentation refresh project to better target fragmented markets.

  • Analyze product line profitability data and identify root causes for performance trends.

  • Collaborate with Product and Sales Management to develop and execute multimedia marketing campaigns.

  • Create content for email marketing, including copy, design, and layout.

  • Coordinate print and digital advertising efforts.

  • Develop and manage website content and updates, ensuring SEO and UX best practices are followed.

  • Create and maintain sales collateral, ensuring consistency across platforms.

  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to keep social media and website content current.

  • Serve as a project lead for promotional events and tradeshow initiatives.

  • Collaborate with channel partners to support joint go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3–5 years of experience in a marketing or communications role

  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Experience with CRM and email automation tools (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience in the marking/coding industry is a plus

  • B2B marketing experience is preferred
