Pay: $25 - $28 per hour
Hours -
6am - 6:30pm (2-2-3)
6pm - 6:30am (2-2-3)
What's a typical day as a Material Handler? You'll be:
Overseeing movement of all materials, receiving material that comes in, Inventorying into SAP with RF Scanner, inputting data in system, providing materials to production, taking final product to stage and work with shipping to get it shipped.
- Understanding and complying with all applicable SOPs, GMPs, and department/site guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, DEA, FTZ, etc.)
- Safely and proficiently operating multiple types of Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs)
- Maintaining skill proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Outlook, temperature monitor devices, and other necessary programs
- Performing all housekeeping tasks to keep work areas clean and organized
- Assisting in various cycle counting and location audit activities
- Performing all warehouse duties related to receiving, shipping, and storage of direct materials, chemicals, HAZMAT materials, and non-stock materials
- Supporting all production areas with warehouse duties
- Communicating Bill of Lading information with outside truck drivers and carriers
- Assisting in the review, creation, and/or editing process for warehouse SOPs, work instructions, and forms
- Have experience with warehouse operations and material handling
- Are proficient in operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) and non-PIT equipment
- Have knowledge of SAP, WES, Microsoft Outlook, and other relevant programs
- Can comply with SOPs, GMPs, and regulatory guidelines
- Are detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
