Material Handler (Warehouse Associate)
Location: Granite City, IL
Reports To: Branch Manager (Jay)

Key Responsibilities:
- Unload materials, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks; inspect shipments to meet company quality standards
- Stock and transfer materials, tools, and equipment to designated bins, shelves, racks, or pipe bundles according to prescribed sequence (including location, size, type, style, and length)
- Accurately mark materials with identifying information
- Transfer materials to and from shop areas for modification purposes
- Assemble customer orders from stock and package for shipment according to customer specifications
- Pull and prepare orders for delivery or stock-to-stock transfer, loading onto appropriate trucks or packing areas using forklifts, overhead cranes, or heavy equipment
- Prepare documentation for UPS, LTL, SH, or air shipments
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Adhere to all safety policies, guidelines, and mandatory training
- Promote and practice safe work habits, report hazards and incidents promptly
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills and typing proficiency
- Ability to learn company, federal, and health/safety regulations
- Basic math and reading skills; attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Must be able to provide documentation verifying legal work status
- Demonstrated ability to comply with organizational policies, including Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines
- Warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment, varied temperatures, and loading/unloading materials
- Must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
