  • Pay rate: $24.60
  • Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday
  • THIS IS A  TEMPORARY POSITION  LASTING 30 DAYS

What's a Typical Day as a Material Handler (shipping/receiving):

You will be a vital member of our Operations team. This onsite position is designed for a self-directed professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about quality and operational excellence. You will support our financial and logistical workflows, ensuring our manufacturing processes remain efficient and reliable. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, inspect, and stock orders
  • Pack and weigh orders
  • Operate pallet jack and tow motor
  • Delivery of received goods to appropriate associates
  • Appropriate interaction with carriers and other vendors
  • Use Navision and other computer programs to enter and track all work
  • Assist in instructing personnel in proper methods for department maintenance procedures
  • Work with supervisors, and others on projects and programs
  • Instruct other employees as necessary
  • Maintain inventory of shipping and receiving supplies, including tracking and ordering of materials
  • Keep work area clean

This job could be an outstanding fit if you:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading, math, and computer skills
  • Ability to operate pallet jack and tow motor, including obtaining proper certification
  • Interpersonal skills appropriate for interaction with management, fellow employees, and vendors
  • Good attendance and punctuality
  • Attention to detail required 
  • Able to operate Pallet Jack and Tow Motor (Be able to be trained and receive a License)
  • Basic reading, math and computer skills
  • Work with supervisors, vendors, suppliers, and other personal in a professional manner
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, use hands, and stand for extended periods of time  

Must be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. without assistance and up to 250 lbs. with mechanical assistance
