Mechanical Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift (Level III)
Industry Leading Automotive Parts Manufacturer – Lakewood, NY
Are you a seasoned industrial maintenance professional ready to take on new challenges? An industry leading automotive parts manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Level III) for our Lakewood, NY location. This full-time, onsite role is perfect for candidates with at least 7 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience, particularly those with Millwright expertise and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Job Specifications

  • Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite (Direct Hire)
  • Location: Lakewood, NY
  • Pay Rate: $35/hr plus overtime
  • Shift: 2nd shift (mandatory overtime and weekends)
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot CNC machines and engine component production equipment
  • Perform comprehensive mechanical and electrical repairs with high craftsmanship standards
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and uphold strict safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth, continuous operations
  • Mentor junior technicians and support the Apprenticeship Program
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks and work orders using Maximo
  • Apply TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 7 years of industrial maintenance experience; Millwright background preferred
  • Proficient with CNC, HMI, robotic controls, and diagnostic tools
  • Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Technical education or certifications preferred but not required
  • Solid understanding of NEC/IEC standards and industrial safety; familiarity with 70E certification
  • Willingness to work mandatory overtime and weekend shifts
  • Flexibility to assist across various production areas as needed
  • Industrial experience required (residential/commercial backgrounds not considered)
