Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Product/Development Engineer to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will develop, and design manufactured products in accordance with company and industry standards. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate engineering changes for existing products
  • Manage the new product development pipeline
  • Create functional and manufacturable new product designs
  • Leverage strong engineering background and mechanical aptitude to develop new products based on market and customer needs
  • Collaborate with key customers to create/refine designs and secure final production approval
  • Direct Engineer/Designer activities and coordinate with the tool shop to optimize product designs
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical connector or similar market
  • RJ45 experience preferred
  • Experience in design, development, and manufacturing
  • Familiarity with production processes including stamping, molding, and assembly
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and strong hands-on skills
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
  • CAE mechanical simulation experience is a plus
  • PDM experience is a plus
  • ERP revision and BOM management experience
  • Tool shop experience is a plus
  • Proven new product development and project management capabilities
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
