Job Overview:
As a Medical Laboratory Scientist I, you'll contribute to critical clinical testing in Clinical Toxicology and Special Chemistry using advanced instrumentation, including LC-MS. Your work will help deliver accurate and timely results that directly impact patient care. This is an ideal opportunity for those with strong technical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document clinical laboratory testing in accordance with SOPs and regulatory standards
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, especially LC-MS systems
  • Conduct quality control procedures and resolve instrument or testing issues
  • Collaborate with team members to support laboratory workflow
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
  • Participate in professional development and training initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
  • MLS, MT, or CLS certification preferred (e.g., ASCP)
  • Experience in clinical laboratory or special chemistry testing is a plus
  • Familiarity with LC-MS or similar technologies is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed
