Executive Summary
We are seeking a strategic, resourceful, and high-performing Menu Operations Associate to support our client's menu UI features and the quality of menu items across the restaurant marketplace. In this role, you will work closely with product and partnerships teams, focusing on updating, tracking, and enhancing menu data, as well as streamlining processes and supporting go-to-market initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adept at handling complex datasets, and skilled at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build detailed reports to track and understand item quality and metrics for restaurant menus
- Review and enhance Menu Data with additional tags and metadata to improve user experience
- Implement bulk menu updates, including uploading photos and making large-scale changes to menu items
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with procedures and best practices
- Track progress against business objectives (e.g., sales volume, GMV impact, attachment rate)
- Conduct informational interviews with merchants and customers to understand their needs and improve menu features
- Complete ad hoc menu requests that align with strategic business goals
- Streamline and optimize processes as improvements are identified
- Help create go-to-market materials, such as pitch decks, to educate merchants on new features
- Strong coachability and aptitude for technology and data
- Proficiency with communication and collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Sheets) and internal DoorDash systems
- Ability to learn and execute multi-step processes, including menu creation and onboarding set-up
- Detail-oriented, with high accuracy and productivity in data management tasks
- Excellent communication and time-management skills; capable of articulating issues and implementing solutions
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and priorities with strict deadlines
- Experience working with large datasets or dashboards is preferred
- SQL knowledge required
- Experience in menu operations, restaurant tech, or product enablement
- Demonstrated ability to create educational or go-to-market materials for internal or external audiences
