Position: Metals Sales Representative Location: Allendale, Michigan
Salary: $65,000 + (Depending Exp)
Job Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire
Shift: Monday - Friday | Normal Business Hours

Role Overview: Salesperson needed for growing metal fabrication and dust collection company. Five years sales experience in the sheet metal and/or material collection industry. A wide knowledge base covering sheet metal applications is a plus.

Key Duties:

  • Apply product knowledge to marketing;/Sales of goods and services
  • Apply sales techniques to best serve our customers
  • Identify best products for customers needs.
  • Practice “Honesty and Integrity” in all matters
  • Develop sales plan to grow sales/ cold calling, prospecting, and networking.
  • Develop solid customer relationships.
  • Sell products and services.
  • Develop, present, and price customer solutions.
  • Oversee installations in conjunction with field crews.
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure relationship continues.
  • Expand customer base by attracting new customers.

Essential Skills:
  • Ability to accurately measure and draw sketches
  • Mechanically Inclined
  • Knowledge of calculating CFM's and static pressure
  • Computer skills (Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Ability to read blue prints
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD a plus
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Time management skills
  • Effective communication skill
