Now Hiring: Mining Technician I
Location: On-Site at our client's Data Center
Kelly is excited to offer a temp-to-hire opportunity for a Mining Technician I, supporting a state-of-the-art data center. If you have strong attention to detail, technical curiosity, and want to develop in a hands-on tech environment, this could be the perfect fit for you!
Please note: Applicants must be comfortable working at heights on scissor lifts and must be ok with working in hot and cold environments.
Schedule Options and Pay Rate:

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM 
  • Front Half: Sunday–Wednesday (Rotating Sundays Off)
  • Back Half: Wednesday–Saturday (Rotating Saturdays Off)
  • Enjoy a full weekend off every other week!
  • Pay Rate: $20.00/hr 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor data center equipment to maintain peak performance and uptime
  • Complete preventive maintenance on critical hardware
  • Rack and cable equipment (servers, miners, PDUs, network switches)
  • Update asset management systems and hardware maps
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting and cable repair (Cat5/Cat6)
  • Register and track equipment repairs in Minder and JIRA
  • Work alongside experienced technicians to learn electrical systems and power distribution
  • Assist with hardware returns and machine deployment
  • Provide remote support to other sites as needed
  • Foster positive communication within your team and with leadership
  • Safely operate a scissor lift to complete assigned tasks

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and basic computer knowledge
  • Associate's Degree or Technical Certification (preferred but not required)
  • Willingness to work in hot and cold environments
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of your shift
  • Comfortable working at heights on a scissor lift
