MoB Project Lead | Tampa, FL (Onsite, Hybrid)

Role: The MoB Project Leader leads key projects aligned with site business priorities and provides technical support to pharmaceutical manufacturing operations to ensure successful execution. Working closely with the Portfolio Leader, the Project Leader is responsible for: Tracking projects against agreed timelines Organizing and leading recurring cross-functional project meetings Facilitating the resolution of roadblocks and conflicts Escalating critical issues to the Portfolio Leader as needed Providing direct, hands-on support for documentation and manufacturing execution when required
Key Activities / Responsibilities:
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams including R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement and Operations.
- Develop project strategies, resource plans, and schedules to support project execution.
- Ensure project plans and timelines are in place for all planned activities including a detailed project charter/scope, risk assessment, and milestone schedule.
- Manage activities with material suppliers, testing labs, and operations teams.
- Ensure project documentation is completed and approved per procedures.
- Responsible for communication across operations, procurement, R&D, and external suppliers.
- Responsible for initiating and managing Quality Change Requests (QCRs) to completion.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
- 5 + years of industry experience as a project manager.
- 5 + years of experience in a regulated environment.
- PMP certification desired, but not required.
- Project management, process improvement, organizational, and documentation skills.
