**Must have experience using a lathe, as well as MIG and TIG welding experience**
Pay Rate: $40.36/HR
Schedule: This role rotates between 1st and 2nd shift every other week with some Saturdays required.
1st shift: 7AM-3PM
2nd shift: Mon-Fri 3PM-11PM
**first 2 months of training are on 1st shift**
Location: Athens, GA
Duration: Permanent position with benefits

What's a typical day as a Multi-Skilled Industrial Technician? You'll be:
• Performing electrical design, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work
• Utilizing electrical test equipment to isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment
• Troubleshooting complex circuits with various voltages and printed circuits
• Troubleshooting high-voltage systems up to 480 volt 3-phase, 500 volts DC, and low-voltage control circuits
• Servicing electronic equipment by checking, testing, and replacing faulty components
• Fabricating parts using machine and hand tools
• Detecting and diagnosing mechanical failures, including pneumatic and hydraulic malfunctions
• Troubleshooting and repairing electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls
• Installing and repairing electrical equipment, designing electrical control circuits, and installing electrical wiring
• Providing leadership and effectively communicating with management, employees, and contractors
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have at least five years of journey-level industrial experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment
• Are able to read blueprints/schematics and determine and correct causes of equipment failure
• Have experience performing precision equipment alignments
• Have a working knowledge of fabrication, installation, and maintenance of production and support equipment
• Possess strong leadership skills and can effectively communicate with others
• Have a strong focus on safety and can maintain an exemplary attendance record
