Kelly Services is hiring for an Onboarding Specialist for a local client in Longview, TX!

Pay: $22hour (based on experience & qualifications)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm (Some flexibility required during peak hiring season) The Onboarding Staffing Specialist is responsible for providing onsite support in coordinating and facilitating the onboarding process for high-volume hiring at our Longview facility. This role ensures that new hires have a smooth and professional transition from offer acceptance through their first day. The Onboarding Staffing Specialist will work closely with the TA Manager, recruiters, and hiring managers to manage candidate flow, orientation activities, and compliance requirements while delivering an excellent candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute all pre-hire and onboarding activities for high-volume hourly and professional roles.
  • Conduct new hire orientations, facility tours, and onboarding sessions to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Manage and track all onboarding documents, including I-9 verification, background checks, drug screens, and other pre-employment requirements.
  • Serve as the primary onsite contact for candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers during the onboarding process.
  • Schedule and coordinate large candidate groups for orientation, ensuring accurate headcounts and preparedness.
  • Partner with TA Manager and HR to identify process improvements and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Support logistics such as parking coordination, document scanning, roster management, and onboarding reporting.
  • Provide an excellent candidate experience by delivering clear communication, timely updates, and professional support throughout the hiring process.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in staffing, onboarding, or HR support (high-volume hiring preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
