Kelly Government Solutions is seeking Locum Tenens Ophthalmologists in Baton Rouge or New Orleans to conduct one-time exams in your office for Veterans seeking a new or adjusted disability rating. Veterans are in need of assistance for their service-connected disability exams and we are searching for providers who are looking for supplemental income and to help our nation's service men and women.

Compensation: Per-exam fee schedule; varies based on type of exam. Self-paced online training at flat rate of $200.
Schedule: 1-5 days per week commitment (M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm) - 2 weeks per month; patients scheduled for you on a monthly basis, based on your availability
Responsibilities:
- Perform eye disability examinations (DBQs) to evaluate and diagnose eye/optometric conditions: there is no treatment required as this exam will include only a general examination, and medical record review if requested on the initial VA request.
- Perform visual acuity test, visual field test - kinetic perimetry, tonometry, slit lamp/external eye exam, fundus/internal eye exam
- An active US optometry or ophthalmology license (OD, MD) in good standing and free of sanctions or malpractice claims
- Active Malpractice Insurance may be required
- Required C&P exam experience (6 mo)
- Required LLC Business entity
- Preferred 2 years clinical experience
- Office where you can conduct exams
What happens next:

Once cleared, visits will be scheduled for you, based on your availability. Records will be sent for review prior to the appointment. After the assessment, you'll submit documents through secure portal. Get paid.
