Description
This position offers the chance to work hands-on fabricating and installing interior upholstery components while building your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
If you have experience with industrial sewing machines, upholstery tools, carpet installation, blueprint reading, or hands-on car seat fabrication—and are looking for solid, long-term work—this could be a great fit.
Upholstery Tech ILocation: Savannah, GA 31408
Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $23.31/hour

Fabricate and install upholstery, cover panels, and create simple patterns for aircraft interiors.

Perform upholstery and trim work following design drawings, work orders, FAA specifications, and customer requirements.

Fit and install interior components including panels, windows, headliners, sidewalls, bulkheads, hatch panels, and carpets.

Cut, surge, and install carpets according to design patterns.

Use material tracking systems to create part demands, sign off tasks, and track work progress.

High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering documentation.

Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic math.

Experience with commercial sewing machines, sergers, and upholstery tools (preferred).

Computer literacy and ability to work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Ability to work assigned shift.
