Position: Outbound Shipping Lead
Location: Pooler, GA
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $20.50 per hour

Position Overview

Join our team in Pooler, GA as an Outbound Shipping Lead! In this key leadership role, you'll oversee the outbound logistics process, ensuring every customer order is picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. You'll coordinate daily team activities, drive performance, and maintain a safe, organized shipping operation.

Core Responsibilities
  • Direct daily outbound shipping: picking, packing, labeling, and loading
  • Assign tasks and coordinate workflow for outbound team members
  • Guarantee timely, error-free shipment of customer orders
  • Verify shipping docs, freight bills, and inventory accuracy
  • Communicate with carriers, internal teams, and leadership on schedules and logistics
  • Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and train new employees
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Resolve shipping issues and identify areas for process improvement
  • Maintain a clean, efficient work environment
What You Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years' experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping operations
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of shipping procedures and carrier requirements
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) if needed
  • Skilled in shipping software and warehouse management systems
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Work comfortably in varying warehouse temperatures
