Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: 1st:  $23/hour; 2nd:  $26/hour
Shifts:  6a-6p OR 6p-6a

What's a typical day as a Packaging Operator? You'll be:

• Operating assigned machinery, including servicing automated inspection equipment, monitoring equipment status, and ensuring a smooth flow of product
• Performing manual visual, cosmetic, and physical inspection of material, escalating concerns as needed
• Starting up equipment, making minor adjustments, troubleshooting, and performing assembly/disassembly for cleaning purposes
• Using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and lifts
• Performing cleaning, housekeeping, and line clearance activities to maintain a cGMP environment
• Completing batch record and GMP documentation entries, maintaining records and/or logs as required
• Following safety procedures and guidelines, reporting any discrepancies to the process facilitator
• Supporting lean activities and process improvement work, such as 5S and problem-solving
• Reviewing process documents for accuracy and providing suggestions for improvement
• Being flexible and supporting other work areas as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have the ability to effectively understand, read, write, communicate, and follow instructions in the English language
• Have good attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records and perform mathematical calculations
• Are a high school graduate, vocational school graduate, or equivalent
• Have experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP regulated environment (preferred)
• Have prior production experience (preferred)
• Have experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment (preferred)
