? Work Environment: Industrial manufacturing setting (indoor & outdoor exposure possible)
What's a typical day as a Painter You will:
? Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning contaminants, and masking areas not to be painted.
? Perform sandblasting to ensure proper surface preparation.
? Read and understand paint specifications and product data sheets from various manufacturers.
?? Select, mix, and test liquid coatings according to project requirements.
? Apply protective and decorative coatings using conventional industrial spray techniques.
?? Operate diesel-powered pumps and related painting equipment.
? Inspect finished surfaces to ensure compliance with quality standards.
? Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment.
? Follow all workplace safety policies and PPE requirements.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
1–3 years of industrial painting experience.
Stable work history in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Experience with conventional industrial spray painting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret paint specifications and technical data sheets.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, often independently.
Work Environment & Expectations:
Manufacturing setting with exposure to varying temperatures (0°F to 120°F).
Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout 8-hour shifts.
Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Exposure to dust, dirt, and industrial noise (hearing protection may be required).
Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
