Job Title: Paralegal Consultant
Location: New Haven, CT (Hybrid – 3 days on-site: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Job Type: Temp to Perm
A growing life sciences organization is seeking a Paralegal Consultant to support its Legal Affairs department. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This individual will play a key role in managing and organizing a large volume of contracts and agreements while ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of legal documentation.
Key Responsibilities-
Organize and track a high volume of contracts, monitoring progress through the execution process

Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely review and completion of agreements

Review and execute Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)

Establish and maintain a comprehensive filing and tracking system for legal documents, including key dates and expirations

Assist in reviewing standard contract templates and identifying client-driven changes

Exercise sound judgment to assess the significance of edits or revisions, escalating issues when appropriate

Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining alignment with department goals
Experience
-
Prior law firm experience with contract work is highly desirable

Corporate paralegal background preferred

Experience in the biotechnology or technology industries is a plus
Skills

Strong technical proficiency; familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet is preferred
