Part-Time Accounting Clerk (4+ Month Contract) – Bartlett, IL
Location: Bartlett, IL
Schedule: Wednesday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In-Office)
Duration: 4+ Month Contract
Pay Rate: $22 - $25/hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team! This role will focus on Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P), requiring someone with strong accounting knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (Primary Focus – Mornings)

• Enter invoices into customer portals
• Post customer payments from bank statements/lockbox
• Assist with sales tax projects
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency—A/R tasks require confidence and minimal rework

Administrative Support (Afternoons)

• General office administration duties as needed

Accounts Payable (Bonus Skills)

• Download and review UPS bills
• Process PO releases in Baan ERP
• Retrieve purchase requisitions and backup for payment processing

Requirements:

• Accounting experience (A/R cash application knowledge required)
•  Strong attention to detail
• Office administration experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe PDF modifier
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•  In-office role (No remote work)

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with ERP/SAP systems
