NOW HIRING: Part-Time Accounting Clerk – Maternity Leave Coverage
Location: South Windsor, CT
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Flexible)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary (Mid-July through October)
Pay: $22/hr Join Our Team This Summer!
We're currently seeking a Part-Time Accounting Clerk to provide administrative and clerical support while our full-time clerk is on maternity leave. This is a temporary position beginning as soon as possible and running through early October. We'd love to have someone start right away to ensure a smooth handoff and proper training.
This role is ideal for someone who's dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity during the summer. Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • File and organize documents efficiently and accurately
  • Perform basic data entry and maintain records
  • Support the accounting department with entry-level accounting tasks
  • Assist with other administrative duties as needed
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous clerical or administrative experience required
  • Basic understanding of accounting or willingness to learn
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel (basic formulas & data entry preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Positive attitude and flexibility with shifting priorities
