Parts Coordinator / Forklift Operator – First Shift ($16/hr to start, $20/hr Full-Time)
Are you forklift certified and looking for a first-shift opportunity in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly? Join our team as a Parts Coordinator / Forklift Operator and play a vital role in supporting production operations and inventory management.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Starting pay: $16 per hour
- $20 per hour after conversion to full-time with our customer (typically after 90 days)
- First Shift
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move raw materials, components, and finished products to and from the production line.
- Inventory Management: Organize, monitor, and replenish supplies for production to ensure efficient workflow.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep work areas clean and organized; manage proper storage of parts and supplies.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials for quality, damage, or defects to support high production standards.
- Communication: Work closely with supervisors, production teams, and other warehouse personnel to resolve shortages and maintain smooth operations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies, wear appropriate PPE, and report hazards or equipment issues.
- Production Support: May rotate into Production Operator/Assembly roles, with responsibilities including assembly line tasks, machine and tool operation, product inspection, packing, and meeting production targets.
- Valid Forklift Certification (Required)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs independently
- Warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organization skills
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Familiarity with safety and quality procedures
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
