Pharmaceutical Machine Operator

Location: Fort Washington, PA
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Shift: 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule from 6:15 AM to 6:45 PM
Position Overview:
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the operation, troubleshooting, setup, adjustment, repair, and maintenance of equipment while ensuring efficient manufacturing processes. This position follows a 12-hour shift schedule on a 12-day cycle: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and monitor processes to maintain product quality and optimize manufacturing throughput.
- Perform manual tasks such as feeding, dispensing, charging, mixing, sorting, inspecting, assembling, and picking.
- Operate manufacturing and packaging equipment, ensuring a consistent supply of components.
- Accurately complete all documentation requirements, including SAP transactions.
- Conduct final checks and verifications as outlined in batch records and SOPs.
- Order and receive materials, ensuring proper identification and utilization.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's Degree.
- Availability to work night shifts and weekends.
- Previous experience in a GMP environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Two years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of Production Automation Systems (e.g., Wonderware, MES, SAP) is highly desirable.
