Job Title: Pick and Pack Worker

Job Description:

Kelly Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Pick and Pack Worker to join our team in Shreveport, LA. This position involves working in an extremely cold environment, so candidates must be prepared to wear warm clothing under a freeze suit.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret pick tickets to identify items needed for orders.
• Locate and retrieve items from designated storage areas.
• Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
• Package items according to company standards and instructions.
• Ensure order accuracy by verifying items and quantities.
• Manage inventory by manually restocking levels or using warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of completed orders.
• Ensure products are separated, organized, and rotated properly.
• Operate various pieces of equipment, including palletizers, dolly loaders, pallet wrappers, forklifts, and electrical pallet jacks.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Follow safety protocols and report any safety issues.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a pick and pack role is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work in a cold environment and wear necessary protective clothing.
