What a typical day as a Plant Maintenance Supervisor might look like:
Responsibilities:
l Accomplishes maintenance human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures
l Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements
l Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts
l Improves function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions
l Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations
l Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications
l Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
l Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees for the maintenance department
l Coordinate work performed by outside vendors
l Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates
l Control and monitor inventory
l Prioritize the maintenance and repairs of company equipment and parts

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Qualifications:
l 10 years' experience as maintenance manager
l PLC and CNC experience
