Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Blasting Technician to join our team at Kelly®. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, operating painting and blasting equipment while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. Schedule /Pay Rate/Compensation:
Monday-Friday 7:00 am-5:00pm  
Pay rate: $18.00 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all assigned painting and blasting duties professionally and efficiently.
  • Assist with inside and outside painting and blasting tasks, including:
  • Preparing paint and blast materials by accurately mixing components.
  • Preparing surfaces prior to painting.
  • Applying specified coatings of paint.
  • Utilize standard blast and paint equipment, including conventional and airless spray systems, motorized lifts, brushes, rollers, and related tools.
  • Properly dispose of residual materials according to safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across various departments.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.
