Press Technician / Digital Press Operator – B & C Shift
Rochester, NY (Gates Area)
Full-Time | Direct Hire | Weekly Pay

Shifts:

  • B Shift: Sunday – Thursday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • C Shift: Sunday – Thursday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
 Pay: $21.00 – $25.00/hour (based on digital press experience)


Are you an experienced digital press operator or technician looking for a long-term opportunity with growth potential? We're hiring for a Press Technician role at a leading print manufacturing facility in Rochester, NY. This position requires prior hands-on experience with digital or offset presses — ideal for mechanically inclined print professionals ready to work with cutting-edge equipment in a clean, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate Canon iX 3200 and HP Indigo Series 3 digital presses
  • Monitor press output for quality, registration, and color consistency
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic mechanical adjustments
  • Troubleshoot press issues to reduce downtime and maintain efficiency
  • Follow detailed job specs, print schedules, and safety procedures
  • Assist with related finishing equipment and participate in 5S/LEAN initiatives
  • Support onboarding and training of new press operators when needed

What You'll Need to Bring:
  • 1–2+ years of direct experience operating digital or offset presses
  • Hands-on experience with Canon, HP Indigo, Xerox iGen, Ricoh, or similar equipment is highly preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable standing for full shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Solid computer skills for interfacing with press controls and job tracking systems
  • Reliable transportation (location has limited public transit access)
