Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Printing Press Operator to join our team in Seattle. As a Print Production Specialist Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating our industrial printer, specifically the Canon Printer C-710 with Fiery software. Your role will involve producing high-quality print materials, ensuring the proper selection of custom paper, and assisting other team members in using the machine effectively. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule of 20 to 24 hours per week.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Part-time 20-24 hours a week
- Pay Rate: $27 to $30 per hour
- Shift: Flexible, 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)


Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate the Canon Printer C-710 with Fiery software to produce high-quality print materials
- Determine the appropriate custom paper for each print job
- Run print jobs efficiently and ensure timely completion
- Assist other team members in gaining confidence and proficiency in operating the machine
- Collaborate with the marketing communications team and graphic designer
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols

Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience operating the Canon Printer C-710 and familiarity with the Duplo machine and Morgana trimmer
- Strong knowledge of print production processes and equipment
- Ability to select the appropriate custom paper for different print jobs
- Proficiency in using Fiery software for print production
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality prints
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
